New technologies have been incorporated in education from about 10 years ago, finding increased use in recent years. This expanded use of new technologies is not only in schools and colleges in the country but has also come to the university to implement its use not only in the classroom but also in various programs.
Despite this, at present, the use of new technology is often misused because there are many teachers who think that using technology as a support tool means using a power point in the classroom when using new technologies is much more than that and opens a number of job opportunities in the classroom.
This year, my personal experience has been to use various technological tools throughout the year. Some of them have served and facilitated learning, while others, to be used many times, have added a repetitive nature to the subjects. Example of this is English. While at first, use the blog as a learning strategy is novel, after a few months during an experience becomes repetitive and therefore starts to become boring. If the blog is done first with curiosity and enthusiasm, the last blog becomes a little tedious. As the months go this experience that at one point appeared to be somewhat attractive becomes boring.
This is also reflected in other subjects, using the power point as a support tool and transformed into a will that only provide information that is read by the teacher at times.
In my view, new technologies are serving teachers to innovate and transform these into something didactic learning and a more playful. That's why I think the creativity and flexibility essential that the teacher has to use these tools in its class. Currently, the technology has experienced great development and therefore, you should know very well how and when to use them in a way that does not become routine and repetitive, that ultimately does not meet the objective of facilitating student learning.
In conclusion, I would add that while new technologies bring new elements into the methodologies of learning, facilitating student learning. They may also discourage students, being used in bad way by the teacher.
